The food is very good, with a wide and varied menu, including designated vegetarian options. The chille rellenos are very special. We did not have the fajitas but they smelled great when they passed our table. The booths are hand carved works of art and add to the otherwise modest decor. We went when it was packed but the service was still fast and courteous. Speaking of packed, the seating is close and will feel family style. The salsa was definitely better than most and the portions were large, older adults will take some home. The margaritas were better than completely fine. The cheese sauce is white and spicy.

The food and service are great. The only problem I have is when my ticket was brought to me there was a price adjustment listed on my credit card receipt, not the order receipt mind you, just the credit card receipts. It made me a little concerned and a little mad. So, I asked about it. Turns out the business got new credit card machines, they are charging customers a fee per transaction to cover this. It made me mad because I wasn't informed of this fee up front. Also if the fee is that much of an issue for the business the price should be worked into the menu items. Such incidentals are part of the cost of running a business (like paying for a business license) and should be either be transparent to customers or presented openly and honestly, not as a bonus surprise on their bill.

Large selection of dishes. Though there is nothing on the menu that I consider the best in Mobile, everything is done well and tastes good. The prices are excellent. Service is typically fast and friendly.
